@caitlynmiller, the hospital usually has a resident pediatrician as well so your baby can be seen at the hospital and then you can decide who you want. That's what I did with my first.

sometimes the insurance will tell you to wait until she's born that way they can send u the baby's insurance card so that you can give it to the pediatrician, ive waited until my first daughter was born @caitlynmiller

call local pediatricians and ask if they are taking new patients if they are choose the one you want then call your insurance let them know the peditricians name, address, phone number and your baby's name and then make an appointment with the pediatrician so he can see your baby @caitlynmiller
