So I need to vent big time. Whenever I go to my SO's mom's house her husband (my SO's stepdad), Tom, always gets drunk and does inappropriate things. In the past, it was more frequent and I actually dreaded being here. But it seemed like after I had Phillip, the inappropriate behavior stopped. He also seemed to cut back on his drinking a lot and we've all been getting along so well. I was honestly starting to think he was looking at me as more of a daughter now. Well, tonight after dinner, since Tom had a friend over, he drank more than usual and he slapped my butt. I guess it wouldn't be a big deal to me if this kind of behavior hadn't happened in the past. But I'm a mother now. I should have more respect. He shouldn't be doing that right? Am I overreacting? I still don't know if I'm even going to say anything to my SO. If I do, it won't be until we leave. Ugh I just don't want to mess up their family 🙁

that's a big fuck no! I honestly would of slap him on the spot he has no respect for you and never will tell your so asap because if you say something after you leave he will be even more mad!!

@tiffanigypsy8, @ktwins188 if it was anyone else I would have told them off or slapped them right then and there, but this man is like a different person when he drinks. He's the sweetest, fatherly type guy when he's not drunk. When he's drunk he turns into a pig. But it was in front of people in a way so that they couldn't see him slap my butt, but they definitely would have been able to see me slap his face! I didn't want to embarrass him in front of his friends. And another thing that sucks is my SO really respects this man when he's sober. And for good reason. He's done a lot in the military and for this country. Just when he's drunk.... Idk what to do. I'm just annoyed that I'm even in this predicament. My SO's mother is also the best mom in the world and she just moved into the middle of nowhere with this man. It would just mess up a lot if I made a big deal out of it. @babes101116

Don't make a big deal, just say something. Don't let your feelings be pushed aside. It's not right. Drunk or not.

@babes101116, Do you think it would be okay to tell my SO after we leave? We're leaving Monday morning. I just really don't like altercations, and if I say something here, it may turn into something it wasn't. Idk I just want Phil to have a good time with his mom, as well. What's your opinion?

You can wait until you leave, try to have a nice time until then. And distance yourself from the stepdad
