So I freaked myself out. Watching tons of delivery videos. All kinds!! && I'm soooo scared now!! I know the body will know what to do etc, but the placenta doesn't come out until like 10 mins later???

Not true. They remove placenta right after the baby comes and it won't be painful considering what you just pushed out of there.

they remove it right away. I didn't even feel it hardly. they did mine in the act of us loving all over our baby so you don't even notice.

after baby is born, the doc kinda tugs in the cord gently. a nurse might massage your stomach to make it move and come out, that kinda hurts because they massage it hard. then in like a minute or three the placenta comes out. you feel it, but it doesn't hurt. you'll be doing skin to skin with your baby to distract you from the process. but it's fast. 😊

If you get the epidural then I say don't even worry! I didn't feel my son come out, or the placenta, or the feeling of getting stitched up. The epidural was great!
