So probably tmi but I am itching uncontrollably down there and I think I actually like made myself bleed from scrubbing too hard in the shower or drying off too hard with the towel and IT WONT STOP ITCHING!!! I've tried Monistat and Vagisil wipes and creams as well as gold bond and baby powder. Idk what else to do but I swear I'm gonna end up digging out my baby and my uterus if the itching doesn't stop!!!! Any suggestions??? I think it might be a yeast infection but there is no white cottage cheesy discharge like I usually get with a yeast infection

i took flagyl for bv with my oldest, and i remember itching uncontrollably like that as well, after i finished the medicine. .its probably a yeast infection from the antibiotics.
@mamabear9456, I think Ima do that tomorrow when they open cuz otherwise I'm gonna do some serious damage to my under carriage
I just had a yeast infection and had NO symptoms my obgyn said I just looked irritated and red down there so she tested me , she was right, the Epsom salt bath is honestly a life saver

omg same !! i go crazy down there and i made myself bleed and freaked out so i made my bf call the ambulance asap 😩 its extremely itchy !!! i have to mention it to my doctor when i go
I just got done taking metronidazole for BV and before that I was on an antibiotic for a UTI. So idk what this could be. If it's just irritation from leaking urine constantly or a reaction to the panty liners I've been using or a side effect from the medication. My OB is always out of the office so I won't even see him again until next Wednesday. And my husband is worried it's what's causing me to have such bad contractions so soon or that I might be leaking amniotic fluid.
I had it at the end of my pregnancy too. A pretty bad yeast infection. I took 2 pills, 4 days apart and it cleared it up so quick. The antibiotic works a lot more efficiently than creams would.
dont use vagisil or any of that it can dry it out worse n i agree theres a pill for that!
I have heard that taking a warm bath with a cap or so of distilled vinegar helps with the itch but if u dont did a number on urself by scratching it would probably burn u lol
Go to your ob. There is a magic pill for that. I will never use the creams again!
this happened to me towards the end of my pregnancy to. it's normal to some extent. it's due to sweat and irriation. try to not wear underwear and pants for a few hours. sleep in just a tshirt. that's what I did, it helped alot
Ouch don't do that! Lay with out underwear and your legs spread open that should help too
