mine would throw it up....the doctor said the iron is heavy, I stopped giving it to them because between throwing it up and having bad reflux....poor things would have an empty belly! 2 of mine had to be put on a billi light while in the hospital and never had problem once they were home. I am still taking a vitamin so hopefully they get some of that. @mommyof2_88

they gave it to my baby, I don't like giving it to him because he gags as well. I just give it to him sometimes. he hates it.

Our dr. In the nicu let us reduce it in a small bottle with equal amount of breast milk or we'd give it to her then wash down immediately with breast milk. If she still didn't like it I'd feed her first then at the end slip the vitamin between her and I when she was latched to trick Her into taking it. see what your pediatrician suggests.

My son took that medicine and he tolerated it but now he not on it anymore

my son was a Lil yellowish too , I just opened the curtains and let some sunlight on him (i got the okay from dr) and his skin turned to a normal color within a week after he was born .

only thing I'm worried about is he is a week old & slightly yellow tint but his Billi count was 6.8 so she is concerned at all but she recommended that stuff to give him also

I never used it, my kids are fine. That stuff is disgusting
