@jadedplumeria, then you only need to put 3.5% down say for instance it's a 200000 home that's 6300 yeah it's a lot but you can save it up of even start when income tax season comes that's what we are doing we put 2000 away that we won't touch and add what we can each month we sometime put a lil extra so we can have 6ms saved up mortgage cost it's best to go for a 15 year fixed rate pay it off quicker it's more it saves u in the longer run in case something happens with job or anything if you look at houses they kind of give u an estimate how much you would pay a month make sure credit is above a 580 lenders tend to work with u if ur score is up there and good

@novaskyy, yeah that's the problem unfortunately my credit is rocky from when I was in the military and I didn't get what credit was exactly so it's a uphill battle trying to fix it

Oh I see are you trying to rebuild it I know regions idk if u have it where u are they helped me in 6 months u give 250 or 200 and they give it right back to u u make 42 dollar payment a month and they treat it like a car loan and it moves it up it helped me a lot

They treat the loan like a car payment and it builds it faster and do you know if you qualify for va loan I was going to meant that like navy federal or something. But yeah regions answered a lot of my questions plus they give u two hundred for opening the account you could use that to do the loan and six months ur credit is looking better
