I have a sonogram at 11:30 in the morning to see if my baby has down syndrome I'm praying for good news that my baby doesn't have down syndrome I'm nervous about this appointment. A friend of mine told me it's mandatory to have this sonogram done now.

I'll be praying for good news @1sttimemommy84 ❤️🙏🏼 they can tell by looking at fluid in baby's neck area. I had it done early on as well
That is what I'm told and the further along you get in your pregnancy they can't detect down syndrome from a sonogram they have to do it through blood work
So, a few days ago I did genetic testing to see if my baby would have any disabilities. The numbers came back higher for Down syndrome and I now have to speak to a counselor about my options as far as continuing this pregnancy. The midwife said it isn't a final diagnosis, and it still makes me wonder. I'm not sure exactly how to take this, I'm thinking of getting a second opinion. Has this happen to anyone you know, or has anyone experienced this before and received a good outcome? I don't want to terminate my pregnancy and then chances are I could have had a healthy baby. All my sonograms are amazingly fine, the baby is always described as perfect as no one in mine/ or my child's father family has ever been diagnosed with Down Syndrome and it's supposed to be passed through genetic. I need advice 😕
Wanted to share with my baby bump ladies !!! This was my ultrasound pictures at 7 weeks 4 days !! I'm 8 weeks 1 day today !! Have to turn pictures upside down to see baby.. I'm in love with my little one !!!! Due date january 26th, 2019.
My friend just had her anatomy scan and her baby might have Down syndrome 😭 she’s so worried
What can I eat or drink tomorrow to have my baby really active for my sonogram tomorrow?
I think my son has down syndrome :(
