Question for Moms: My daughter is 4.5 months and I'm noticing that everything shakes her up. A toilet flushing, a bathroom door shutting closed, when I move her car seat canopy and just other things I've noticed that are scaring her. She gets frightened and sometimes she starts crying. I'm starting to get worried and not sure how I can ease those frights or if it's normal? She's gone to loud parties and has been around a lot of people from when she was a month and a half but not recently but there's always movement going on at home so not sure what it is or why this is happening

My daughter is the same age and is the exact same way. Her pediatrician said it's completely normal.

It's normal, she's still getting used to the world outside the womb.

my newborn was doing tht to so I ask the nurse she said it was normal it's reflexes of noise tht she hears so it's a good thing because if she didn't there could be something wrong like hearing or whatever it's stimulation...

Of course it may sounds super dumb but my family always said that when you argue a lot of get tense or angry your baby is born nervous (jumpy) it's been true fe what I seen I guess they just startle easier it's sad but no direct harm it should get better within time
