You can call your insurance and ask how it's done but more than likely you'll have to have your doctor prescribe it and then the insurance will call you with the approval and ask what kind you want. Some are free, the medela is always extra. I have the Lansinoh and it works just fine, I like it.
@anewmummy the day I had my baby one of the nurses told me about it. the next day a
lady that worked with thr hospital. (not a nurse i forgot where she was from lol)came over and called my insurance a couple of days later they mailed it to my house. you can $50 extra for the Medela pump.
