So did anyone else see this story on fb or heard about it? This mom took her 4 month old to the hospital for bleeding and while her and the baby fell asleep in their room another patient came into the room and took the baby as well as the babies diaper bag. When she woke up she seen her baby was gone and the bag and some of the belongings were thrown around the room. She went and found her daughter in another patients room as well as nurses and the nurses tried to tell her the lady didn't mean any harm. What!!! And before you say there are two sides to every story 🙄🙄 I watched the interview of the lady who took the baby and she said that she went into the room when she heard the baby cry and she picked her up but the baby kept crying so she took her to her room and that what she did wasn't wrong that the nurses seen her take he baby so she thought it was okay. I would have flipped my shit if someone took my baby without telling me. All she had to do was wake the mom up. People on fb thinks the mom is overreacting and since the lady didn't have bad intentions it's okay. The police and the hospital believe that there wasn't any wrong doing. What do you mamas think? How would you have reacted?
I would have been going to jail if I woke up and discovered someone else holding my baby because I would be beating people down. The nurses for being negligent and the patient for taking my child. You do NOT take a mother's baby. I don't even like people asking me to hold my son..I prefer they wait for me to offer. This story disgusts me. 😤
@mommyofdoubletrouble, me and you both 👏🏽👊🏽👊🏽
Id Be Throwing Fist At EVERY Mother Fucker In There. All I Gotta Say. Smfh 😤😤
@phinnybinz, my thoughts exactly
I'd be livid! There is no situation in which it is ok to have my child in another patients room without knowledge and consent. Period. @tanalaureano
@phinnybinz, their response was crazy. The two I read and the video I watched said the hospital felt there wasn't any wrong doing from the patient and that they believed the way their staff handled was correct.
The only article I read said the hospital was still investigating. However the police response was ridiculous. Plenty of kidnappers don't mean any harm to the child...
@nikkim21, they need to,they should have know better then to allow that. I feel the same it is kidnapping in my eyes. If I didn't give you permission to take my child and I didn't know where she was at, that is most definitely kidnapping.
definitely @tanalaureano and in my opinion, the nurses need to be reprimanded. Technically that's kidnapping and they condoned it
what....i wouldve ripped her damn head off and told her , i seen she wasnt thinking straight so i just wanted to adjust it for her...my good intentions 😑😑😑
my baby wouldn't have been the only one in there for bleeding
@nikkim21, it really is and I feel for her because I would have been so scared. I'm sure she was a wreck already from her daughter being sick and now that. I would have pressed charges as well.
I saw that and got so pissed like that lady and those nurses would have caught the illest fade! I still hope she pressed charges or something smh that whole situation is messed up
@1st_time_wonder, right 🙌🏽
I would've thrown one of the biggest bitch fits in the world. I swear to you
@simplykie, me and you both. I was so amazed at some of the comment made but some of the people on the article. All I was thinking is how can you be a parent as say what that lady done wasn't wrong. I would have went off on all of them.
@tanalaureano I got pissed reading the article if that would have been my baby I would suing the hell outta that hospital
@madibrice, it is but the police and the hospital doesn't see it that way. It's like someone can come take my son out of the cart while I'm grocery shopping without me knowing and me later finding them in the store, but how that person didn't have any bad intentions then it should be okay. I don't get that.
Exactly @soon_2_be_mom_of_4 she could have woke the mom up but didn't and for the nurses to not tell the lady something is just crazy. @simplykie my thought exactly what if what she had was contagious. How the world is now a days I would have been so scared and mad all at once. Even if she didn't have bad intentions it doesn't make her actions right.
She could of thought she was doing something nice, but she should if stayed in the room with baby. I think maybe wake momma up.
What made it worse is the mom said after she got her baby back and went to her room the lady followed her and insisted that she give her back the baby. The nurses finally escorted the lady out after then seen how upset the mom was 😑😑😑
yes I saw this earlier I would have been upset just as much as she was and did the exact same thing she did and some because being a mother no one wants to wake up and their child is missing I do feel like the hospital as well as the police could have did more who knows what this woman's intentions were and what illness she may have had that caused her to be inside the hospital from the start but any mother would be livid period
I would've went off! One of my nurses said if someone comes in the room without this badge on (that has a certain pattern on it) and wants to take/touch your baby don't let them and I can check their badges if I needed to.
@babyj0916, it's crazy cause even the police said after they investigated the whole thing that the lady didn't have bad intentions and they will not be filling charges against her.
I would have snapped big time u don't just take a baby that is not your own
The same way she did!!!!!! If I don't know you don't touch my child!!! I hope she sues they ass!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
