Breast pump question:
I ordered a breast pump through Aeroflow which my insurance covered. I chose the Spectra S2 model because I read some good user reviews and also because I used a medela with my son and I actually wasn't too happy with it, so I opted to try the spectra this time over the medela advanced starter kit which was also offered. Of course now I'm having second thoughts bc Spectra is such a less known brand. My question is, have any of you mamas had experience with both of these brands? Which did you prefer? Or if you've only had experience with Spectra, what is your honest review of this brand? TIA mamas! ❤️
I'm wishing I got the spectra instead of the media I hate mine so I quit using it cause I wasn't getting anything outta my boobs with it she got more attached to me the I did with that media starter pump
I heard the spectra was a hospital grade pump so its better then the others
That's why I got the spectra also through Aeroflow. I read better reviews!
@babymaverick, awesome! That's very reassuring. 😁 very similar to other reviews I've read!
I personally don't have experience but a close cousin of mine has a medela and I let her borrow my spectra s2, & she loved mine so much better. She said it was a lot more powerful and it got her milk out faster. She's about to buy one.

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...

“You look too young to be a mom!”
Or how about …
“You have a BABY? No! You look like a baby yourself!”👶
Oh wait, here’s a good one …
“Are you the nanny, ooor … ?”
“No, yeah I’m his mom,” I’d reply. “Yes, I am young,” I’d agree.
Considering I got pregnant straight out of college, I was certainly on the younger end of the parenting spectrum. (No one was more surprised than me, I assure you.) And yet, I wasn’t exactly a teen mom. I wasn’t juggling school courses and motherhood, like so many s...
I haven't given birth yet, but I got the Spectra S2. I have only heard great things about it.
