having a bumming day that I'm not able to breastfeed my baby. she just doesn't want to latch on. searches for it, sucks once or twice then freaks. we've seen lactation specialist, used nipple shields, tried it all over the past 11 days. but since she was a month early they just think she's not ready. I didn't think it bothered me at all but today it is. she strictly is breast milk bottle fed (No formula) so she's getting my milk but still just wish we were able to latch.
also worried that my milk will decrease and be gone soon if I am just pumping...can that be true, a lactation person told me that.

we've had issues since like day 1 and having inverted nipples doesn't help I guess. the consultants in the hospital were amazing and I had hopes we could get her to latch then the one we saw on Monday just like crushed all my hopes and crushed my hopes to be exclusively breast bottle feeding even. unfortunately in my small town we don't have much to choose from and there is only 1 center to go from abd a couple lactation consultants. @kambam
@rachh40 mines only 5 days 😔 I dont agree with your consultant I would see another tbh. I work with some of the most amazing women and they get my baby latched like a champ. I dont believe yours cant.
that's what I've always heard too. I've been pumping after every feeding trying to get atleast one or two ahead of myself. she goes about 3 hours between feedings...how old is your little one? atleast they are getting our milk still❤ @kambam
im having problems too I feel it 😔 im so frustrated. anyways, my consultant said i need to pump it wont make the milk go away but staying engorged and not expressing will
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭
My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
My mom just attacked me, she even kicked and punched me in my stomach and I'm bleeding all over the place. Now she's begging me not to call the police
