Is having Briton hicks a good thing? Like do they mean an easier/shorter labour? Xx

No they don't Hun. All they are is your body practising... They don't indicate anything towards your actual labour unfortunately. I had none with my first and my labour was only 7 hours from first contraction to pushing him out. I've had loads this time around but not holding my breath for a shorter labour hash xx

@mrsmowmow, that's what I've heard. But I think it's another old wives tale! @jodieiokie xx

@emmaelaine I didn't have any with my first 2 and my longest labour was 5 hour.. So I guess it doesn't make a difference xx

I had them a lot with my daughter from 35 weeks on really bad because as my belly was tightening it was pushing her on a nerve very painful until she turned at 38 weeks then it was just normal BH and my labour was 12 hours been getting them this time to so we'll see xx
