ugh I know they did that to me i was soooo mad even my finance cuss dem out

that's weird there going to stop them again, I'm went in several times and had mine stopped but they told me once in hit 36 weeks they won't try to stop them anymore because she is fully developed.

how can they stop them at over 37 weeks?

@jamie_and_donovan, I feel like if she's coming she's coming I don't understand why they are doing it but they said they want to wait until she's 39 weeks @kendrah3 I know right, can I deny the shots you think? I don't wanna keep coming in every week

yes I went in yesterday afternoon my stomach was so hard for almost two hrs n I was contract in so much n they were really big one buhh they can't do nothing till 39 weeks

yes you can deny anything. she's far enough along that the baby will be fine. maybe you'll be in pre term labor for a while tho because I've been in pre term labor for a couple weeks having contractions every 5 minute but not dilating at all

I would try to deny them because I think 37 weeks is still considered full term and she obviously wants out... just my opinion... I went in at 36 weeks and they weren't gonna stop my labor if i was in fact in labor but the contractions stopped on their own

@mommyale3, that's crazy girl why are they doing this to us 😂😂 @jamie_and_donovan yea they said that my cervix is still really far back so I don't know if I should just go home. I'm also having a csection so i don't know if I wanna deny the doctors orders but I also don't wanna be back next week. I feel like saying just deliver this dang baby. @kendrah3 yea girl I agree with you, I also don't know my exact conception date because I was on the pill so for all I know I could be further along and that's why she's trying to come. I hate that they can't just see that she's coming and ready. My husband and I got so excited this morning and I've been having contractions since last night and didn't wanna come in for this exact reason.

@allyk.xmommy, when I was here last week, they told me it was because my OB was on vacation and I was still preterm. Which is totally understandable. But now it's like okay I'm almost 38 weeks and I'm back here AGAIN and there's no reason to stop it. I think I'm going to deny the shots and maybe just go home and wait until it's unbearable

@mommyale3, right ! If I'm having a csection it's like get me ready for operation and let's do the dang thing ! I would think that since I have to have a csection they wouldn't want me in labor at all just incase

@mommyale3, I'm going to deny these shots and probably be back later, watch. Lol and it's irritating too cause I have family that really wants to be here when she's born so i let all these people know that I'm going in and having contractions and they all take off work and then I get sent home when my baby is clearly ready. It's insanely annoying.

@samclark5, trust me I know I was so mad when they kept sending me home my finance was like if we go next time cause of ur contractions n if they don't do nothing were going to another hospital @samclark5

@mommyale3, girl my man was just saying the exact same thing. He was like let's go to the other hospital up here

sorry that is frustrating! I went in last week to the hospital and tht my water broke but it was a false alarm, needless to say I was not even dilated at a 1 yet and my cervix is way back there too. I don't know what the hold up in your case is....what hospital btw

@tchrmama13, dang I really hope it's not a false alarm. That's what they told me too that my cervix is far back. St Mary's

In my case it was because my bladder is being weighed on by the baby and caused major incontinence which I had no idea was a thing. ya your cervix has to be low and soft I guess and mine is NOT. lol. we're going to Saint Marys too, best up here!

@tchrmama13, watch out for a nurse named Kelly. She literally just made me cry because she made me feel like a terrible mom. My dr wanted to stop the contractions by giving me shots and I asked her if the shots were at all harmful to the baby and she went into this big long spiel about how she had a baby at 28 weeks and blah blah blah. Totally rude.

@tchrmama13, exactly girl ! @midwestgirl16 we took them just because they wouldn't work if she's ready to come on her own so if they work then cool she can bake a little longer but if not then she will come anyways. I just hate that she made me feel like a bad mom for asking if the shots were going to be harmful for my baby
