When I had mine swept I bled a good amount an cramped. My dr warned me though before I left that I would experience bleeding an cramping so I wouldn't be alarmed . It's just from your dr doing the membrane sweep

did the membrane sweep hurt? how did they do it? I'm 39 weeks too and my next appointment is the day before my due date

Yeah it did hurt I was like crap 😳 lol they just take their fingers & separate the cervix from the sac ( I think) I googled it to get a better understanding @chiquitaanita

aw maybe the cramps are a good sign. they didn't set an induction date yet have they? I feel like I'm willing to go to 42 weeks before I set one :/

No induction date yet but my doc said she doesn't think I'll make it to my next week appointment but if I do that's when she'll set a date @chiquitaanita
