My daughter only wants the right side I'm like you know it's milk on both right lol I'm trying to get her to feed more on the other side but it don't always work out I really don't want it to dry @clothdiapermomma

when I was having latching issues dhe to nipple confusion my LC said eventually it will dry up if it's not used and that you can also bf with one breast.. my right boob produces way more than my left..

Just keep teaching the baby that there is both sides to receive milk on , the latch will come more natural if you both keep trying to work at it, yes it will dry up if you don't pump or nurse on that side for so long & you can get ingorged & cause pain for you.. Also you have to make sure cause you are only nursing on one side if that's going to be enough milk, but I think that it's best to keep working with it, cause I was happening to me my daughter when we were in the NICU , one side was "better" to nurse on cause it was comfortable for the both of us the other side wasn't as easy, but we worked through it & she is a pro. I didn't read the comments so sorry if I'm repeating. lol I've been having the same problem. my baby may or may not want the other boob. if she do it's almost a hour later and only for like 10min.. so what I been doing is alternating boobs each feeding. and the times, which is most, if she don't eventually go to the other boob I will pump it.

I'm definitely going to do that cause she will probably feed for a minute and not want it anymore but soon as I put her on the right side she's fine thank you @0816mommy

does she just not like the left side? lol just still try to latch her and pump if she doesn't. you don't want to get engorged
