My baby mostly will nurse one boob power feeding. sometimes she will go to the other side but not till 30-45 minutes later. and seeing she is 5 days old I should be nursing every 2-3 hours but if she is sleep she refuses to wake up or don't be interested. she'll wake up herself the 3rd or 4th hour to feed.

Waking to feed? My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?

Should I be waking my daughter up every 3-4 hours to feed? She sleeps and doesn't wake up I have to wake her up to feed her.
Question if your child woke u up in middle of night hungry would you wake up to feed them- saw this on TikTok lol

I think she's fine just nurse in demand when she wants it she'll let you know! before my supply dried up my lactation consultant told me to tickle my babies feet if she was talking alseep while eating.

they get so full so when she does that it's usually the 2hr mark so I'll pump. and then two hrs later I nurse. sometimes at night she'll whine and nurse at 2-3 hours. during the day like 4 @mommyofaprincess220

I've been pumping, not often just when she doesn't nurse off the other breast. I didn't plan on pumping until closer to time to go back to work. @surprise4

oh so she just alternate each feeding? I eventually have to pump the other one cause it'll start leaking and be engorged. @samanthacross218

she said she doesnt even have him feed off that one. she said she just let it leak and engorge and the pain went away. she doesnt do anything with that boob @0816mommy
