Anyone else get Zantec for heartburn? I take 150 MG twice a day & it does not work! I might get a couple hours of relief, but not fully. It just takes the edge off. I already had horrible acid reflux before I got pregnant & took omeperzole but they changed it to Zantec whenever I got pregnant. Anyone else it doesn't work for?

I'm only on my second day of it, but yeah... I was on omeprazole before and it worked but none of these things more are working! tagamet was ok for a few hours. this zantac is ok for like 8 hours.

@rebalouise, I was on omeprazole for a long time and it started making my stomach worse so I was switched to zantac (rantadine) my heart burn has been horrible my entire life I didn't think it could get worse but it did with pregnancy I took that my entire pregnancy. I took 300mg at bedtime that worked more for me. they might have lower doses so you can take them three times a day 100mg at a time try Tums and milk I'm between. after having my baby my heartburn is barely noticeable anymore.

@mommytobe88, it takes the edge off for me, but doesn't take it away completely! @summer415 with my first pregnancy they gave me omeperzole, but now they won't & I've asked for it like 2-3 times. If I why they won't, I thought it was safe to take? And yeah, I drink probably a half gallon of milk as day just to get some relief 😂

pepcid has worked way better for me and tums for break through heart burn
