Question
How much formula are all the new born babies eating right now
My daughter isn't getting full with only 30oz
Any help
That's usually how babies work. If they take 2 oz , you feed them every 2 hours. If they take 3 oz, you feed them every 3 hours. And so on. Right now their little bellies can only hold so much, so unfortunately that means very little sleep for mama! Until theyre finally able start taking more, that is. I'm just thankful my little chunk never took 1 oz lol I would dread have to feed every hour!
I had and still have the same issue with my baby. A lot of times, it's just gas. I've learned getting her to burp really well usually helps settle her belly. I've read that swaddling and pacifiers also soothe them
Does she burp every time? Taking a paci doesn't mean she's still hungry. Sucking is a natural reflex for babies. You could always make 3.5 oz & see if she'll take it but be careful to not over feed her. It's easy to over feed with a bottle.
Btw, I learned that tip working in a nursery :-) I was so nervous while preggo worried about knowing when to feed! You're not alone
