Having serious issues with my 6 month old fighting his sleep. Bedtime isn't bad, but during the day nap times.. Are pretty bad. He likes to cry and move all crazy and avoid going to sleep. But he's obviously really tired. It's been going on for months now. I'm back to work full time and have a new sitter, and I'm just nervous he's going to be difficult and I'm not going to have someone. He's so happy and such a good baby. It's just the naps that go bad 😩😩 anyone have any advice???
Maybe try a dark room with white noise. Eliminate all distractions at nap time. Maybe it will help him fall asleep easier?
I don't really have a set schedule. I always work different hours. He goes to bed about 8-9 every night though. And takes 2 naps a day. Just really fights them bad. Can't seem to fall asleep on his own. @mommy_faith
Do any of you ladies use melatonin to help your toddlers sleep? My boys always have a hard time going to sleep and idk what to do anymore 😩
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I don't get how my son can either not have a nap at all or just have an early morning nap and that's it and still not sleep through the night! Usually he sleeps about 4 hours and then he's awake and I'm lucky if I can get him back down again after that and he just has to sleep with me cause I'm to tired. 😫😴 he's going to be a year old next month... When does it get better???? 😕
68 more days to go
How much longer do you mamas have and time sure does feel like it's standing still.
Any ideas on how to get an almost 1 year old to sleep on their own? I love co sleeping but it's got to the point where I can't even pee because Seth wakes up screaming if he's alone for more a minute, it's draining and I get no time to myself, would just be nice that once he's in bed to be able to have some time for me and my partner but I have to be In bed with Seth at 7/8 otherwise he won't sleep, I love co sleeping but I can't be doing this with him when I'm up every 2/3 hours with a newborn ...
I know it's hard but a schedule/routine would help him a lot! He will start to expect a nap when the scheduled time comes. My LO is 9 months and at around 6 months I put him on a schedule for that same reason and it has helped a ton!
