Unless it's medically necessary, induction is no longer recommended before 39 weeks. I'm assuming if it was medically necessary your OB would have admitted you to l&d and induced you themselves.

37 weeks isn't considered full term anymore. It's the doctors responsibility to keep up with what's new in their field. Some dont.

I have my reasons. My OB told me I could do it obviously its perfectly fine.

They might have who knows. But why even try to induce labor already you're not even 38 weeks yet. I don't understand why women feel the need to rush it. I wish I would've made it to my due date but sadly my babies like coming out earlier than they should.

have mercy. I'm 20 years old and this is my third. I can make those choices. my OB gave me strict instructions and I am following those. I'm sure my doctor would not tell me to do something if it would harm my child. thanks for your inputs tho.

im sorry, i know it isn't my body nor my baby but its not necessary to rush through to get to labor the baby will be ready when he or she is ready your body will let you know when its time to let the baby out, if it hasnt happend yet is because your baby isn't finish cooking yet, im 37 weeks as well and im in no rush in having my baby, dont put your baby into risk just because your impatient a healthy baby is better than losing your baby stay away from castor oil..

Yeah I definitely would stay away from the castor oil ... I've heard an seen way too many horror stories about using that . 😔

Same here one lady was on here and two weeks ago one of my moms friends did that and lost her baby

Careful with castor oil, I know two moms that lost their babies full term because of it! It made the babies poop in the womb and they had no way of knowing until they stopped feeling movements
