my birth story...!

I went for check up due to reduced movement around 8pm 30th July. when put me on the machine it showed my uterus was contracting but I was having no pains.

Dr was worried so they kept me in, midwife checked me and I was 4cm dilated. They kept me in and told me to try things to dilate more.

11pm she checked again still only 4cm. 1am they decided to break my waters hoping would speed something up. 2am I was induced, at this point I was in a lot of pain it was unreal. check at 4am I had dilated to 6cm. The dose was increased making contractions more pain, by 8am I was 10cm. I was pushing until 12.00pm on 31st July. my son didn't want to come out 😢.

Dr's decided to do forceps delivery. I was given 2 spinal blocks as first one didn't work.

with a cut and some pushing and with the use of forceps my beautiful boy was delivered at 13.12pm on 31st of July.

I had stitches which are now ridiculously painful. however I can honestly say he was worth it all. I never knew I could love someone so much. ❤❤
