Soo im 18 and we already have a 5 month old little girl. My SO is wanting to have another one so theyre close in age. Me and him have been together 4 years almost. Opinions? We have our life together and dont really need help. Just going to put that out there.
It's all up to you in the end. I'm turning 21 in a couple weeks and had my son at 17 (he's 3) then had my daughter at 19 (she's 1) and will be having my third at 21 and couple months before my daughter turns 2 it definitely has nothing to do with age it's just a matter of weather or not you believe you can handle children that close. My husband and I wanted our kids close also and this is how we decided to go about it.
I'd say wait. My son is 10 months and I'm 18 weeks pregnant and it's super exhausting! You can't nap whenever you want to you can't even go to the bathroom and throw up in peace. It's super hard having a belly and picking up an almost toddler. You feel exhausted mentally and physically because of baby in your belly and your other baby will want to run and play. It's hard and I wish I would've waited a bit longer. I also second the diapers thing cause that's a lot of diapers to go through.
You still want your body to heal. A woman's body doesn't go back to normal until a year after birth. I asked my sons pediatrician and my ob when was a good age to have another and they said between 2-3 years old. Didn't plan this pregnancy but my kids will be 3 1/2 years apart.
To be honest I would wait until the first is potty trained. I sound like a hypocrite since my daughter is 18 months and I'm 32 weeks pregnant, I had problems with birth controls then this 2nd baby was a surprise. But to be honest, I know it's going to be super hard. Especially with my daughter she's super hyper. I know I won't get no sleep and I'll probably be irritated everytime. I don't regret this baby but I used to baby sit so I know what's coming for me. I used to want to wait until my first is potty trained so that way is less money to spend on diapers and I wouldn't have to be wiping two behinds.
I would wait a little while. At least 2-3 years or until one of you finish school if you guys plan on going to college or you guys are married or something. We're still young so we have PLENTY of time.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

i got pregnant when my first was 8 months it has been very hard & i always feel like i dont give him enough attention cause im always tired and some days sick. another down size is your body hasnt fully healed so theres alot of painful cramps and aches early on. im not saying dont go for it just make sure its what your really ready for, and make your thinking of the reality of having 2 kids under 2.
