This is the second night in a row of Stella waking up every hour in the middle of the night. She's overly fussy but still nursing every hour. Any ideas of what might be bothering her? This is not like her, she usually wakes up twice a night. She doesn't have a fever but hasn't passed a bowel movement in two days. She's almost 4 mos old.☹️

Lol it can't be permanent. I have a 4 and 6 year old, they sleep through the night. I know it's hard but be patient

@babes101116, I just googled it and it says it can be permanent. Omg, this is tiring. I guess it's no more sleep or getting anything done anymore😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

May happen with naps too, stick to the routine you have for naps/bedtime, maybe offer a little more cuddles/boob/bottle. Do t worry it won't last forever

Sleep regression and growth spurt

Waking to feed? My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?

So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?
