First cervix check today! 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. Although I know it doesn't mean anything about when he will come but I'm just so happy I'm close to meeting my baby boy! Midwife doesn't think I'll have any signs leading up to labor, she thinks it will all just happen at once ☺️

I was 1cm 80% effaced at my 39 week appointment and went into labor 4 days later. But I didn't get any cervical checks done before that, so not sure how long I could have been sitting at 1cm.
Awe no! I've been feeling that way because I haven't had ANY signs of labor. Not even Braxton hicks. I went in today thinking I wouldn't be anywhere lol don't worry your body will get there when it's ready! @ban y_lillis
