Thanks, I was a stay at home mom for a very long time and I used to make time to teach all three of my boys a lot of stuff before they were a year old, that's why when my two oldest started school they already knew a lot of things that teachers were surprised of how much they learn and knew ☺️ @allyk.xmommy

I've done that he knows all his numbers colors and shapes he is a smart kid ready for school, I can keep teaching him but is not the same as me teaching him here than him learning in school... @allyk.xmommy

@lovegod89, you could make each day a school day for him. teach him how to color. count to 10. teach him how to use glue and scissors. how to spell his name. all that's fun stuff

And I feel so bad that every time my little one see his brothers getting ready for school he comes to me and tells me mama when do I go to school I want to go to school like my brothers 😞 one time he even got dress grabbed his little backpack put his favorite blanket and said mama I'm ready for school I felt so bad it broke my heart that's why I hope and pray he gets in this year @babygirl10-11 @sarahdrew

@lovegod89, that's so weird. the school where I live is extremely good though. their learning schedules are a lot faster than any other school around here. especially the elementary. our school consist of like 6 towns but all grade levels are in 1 location. classes all have about 15 kids in them. lol but they push hard with education

see the school here is allowing my step son to go. he will be 5 in october. school starts here in sept.

my husband had to start school a year later and both my kids will have to as well, it's ridiculous

when kids start school they should already know the basics some parents just wait for the teacher to teach them

i blame that rule on lazy parents .... cuz they only switched it due to kids not learning as fast as they liked so they said kids just aren't ready at that age my daughter had to do three yrs of pre-k
