do any other mommas exclusively pump and feed baby with bottled breast milk?
It's seriously so nice she gets all the benefits of the BM and you get the freedom of freezing milk handing her off for feedings so you can shower, clean, eat anything really plus letting family and friends help when they offer. My husband and I picked it because he wanted me to get sleep too so for the first 3 months I slept from 5pm to 11:30pm no sleep deprivation :] added bonus out of no where I had to get my gallbladder out and my MIL took the night shift well I recovered since I couldn't even hold my kiddo, pumping saved me. I went 9 m strong and just recently quiet then the pedi said we are about to introduce cows milk
I'm thinking that's the route I will be going...my girl is 9 days old, was a month early, and she's just not getting the latching down but her suck is real strong. she's been eating only bm but through a finger latch needle but that's only going to work for so long. my milk is coming in really good so I think I am going to start bottle breast milk feeding. she's still getting my milk that's what matters. thanks ladies @6.5.16best.day.ever @kreeblim
I did for about a month! Not by choice but I had mastitis and thrush and it was unbearably painful to nurse. It was still horrible to pump but not as bad. Been back to EB since he was about 7 weeks old
