So tmi but if I Google it nothing comes up lol. I had a baby 17 days ago and delivered vaginally. I only got 1 stitch towards the back she said and it was 2nd degree. She said 4th degree is the worst. I was just wondering when it's okay to use body wash (like nivea) to clean my downstairs area? And when can I shave?

I would wait till your postportum appt. She will give you the green light for sex or shaving. She's going to make sure your cut is healing and ready to go.

I think you'd be okay once you started feeling like the healing "itch" you'll know it. Once I could feel that I was healing up and able to actually wipe rather then use the dam spray bottle they give you at the hospital is when I started with body wash
