I don't know if this is common knowledge, but I didn't know until this week. If you call your OBGYN and tell them you're having pain they can send a referral for a lactation consultant so your insurance pays for it.

I talked to my Dr the other day she just to give the lactation consultants a call... I can't just give them my insurance card? @babyjunebug
