need advice.
here's the situation. my mother is crazy. and she loves disrespecting my relationship. she tells her friends these stories to make them think I'm being cheated on and lied to, when none of what she says is true. she tells me all the time I should leave him. she calls him a p.o.s and he's honestly the nicest man I've ever met. she even says she will be having her friends follow him when he leaves the house for the day and bs like that.
she also constantly says that my son's name that we have picked out sounds like an std and I need to change it. he picked out the name for our son and it's one that means a lot to him. i love it.
ive told her before to stop and she hasn't.
how would y'all handle this? I'm fed up.

I would tell her you've had it with the disrespect and that you've already given her a second chance and you're done. Maybe things can be repaired later on but if you've already given her a chance and she hasn't taken you seriously then I would personally advise showing her you mean business.

I would let her know that she doesn't have to like your man, but she will be respectful and courteous when she's around you guys or when she thinks of saying something rude behind your back. Tell her if the disrespect doesn't stop she will not be allowed to see the baby or be in your lives. Family is everything but you have a family of your own now to protect and no matter what others think of your family, they need to put their feelings and opinions aside and be respectful.

Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway.
