breastfeading is so painful 😢 I think I'm going to formula feed but I want to breastfeed my baby I feel so bad😭😭
Don't give up I'm right where you are but I'm really determined to keep going!! After every feeding express a little milk and rub it around your nipples then let it dry before putting them away.. And when you do have the baby on the nipple make sure babies lips a flared out around the areolas. Good luck!!
I feel you! My nipples hurt so bad! I do both formula and boob! I have to give my boobs a rest. I also pump but sometimes that hurts too! Don't give up on breastfeeding but know it's okay to feed your baby formula too! As long as they have a full tummy that's all that matters :)
I used coconut oil after each feeding and sometimes the nipple cream that the hospital gave me. I didn't get warm packs, I just got a wet wash cloth and put it in the microwave to make it on and put them on my breast. It helped a lot with massaging them out. I hope it work out for you!
OK mommy @alexislopez do you use any kind of nipple cream ? and where can I buy warm packs for boobs
I had a lot of colostrum just like you and my son made both of my nipples bleed, he had a really strong suck but not a great latch. It hurt so bad but I just fought through it. The first two weeks I wanted to give up so bad but I didn't and now I'm 4 months exclusively breastfeeding my baby. Don't give up mama! It's totally worth it
It is super duper painful for the first month or so for me. I used tons of lansinoh ointment! I got warm/cold packs for boobs this time. If you really can't do it then formula is awesome and available for a reason! Haha don't feel bad... I do both most of the time. I am going to try to only nurse this baby but if not I don't care about using formula.
my nipples are already getting a cut I can see blood but nurses say I have a lot of milk and a lot of colustrum
why don't you pump to give your breasts a rest. don't give up. it gets better with time.
girl dont feel bad i formula fed all three of mine my two oldest are healthy and straight A students and never really ever been sick so all the things they say about breastfeeding it is true but formula feeding is good as well and i still had a tight bond with all my babies my youngest people think he ia breast fed by the way he clings to me but thats just the bond i made from day one so if you stop baby will be fine and so will u
It's gets better and less painful Hun! Those first couple weeks are the hardest. If u rub a little breast milk on ur areola and nipple before latching. It helps protect the tissue when they suckle. Have u seen a lactation consultant ?
thank you mommies I'll keep trying my baby don't like formula
