oops, *I not ibhai

Ibhai swaddled my daughter until she was about 5 weeks old and that helped her sleep so good. When she would wake I would take care of Her needs and then put her in the bed with me. I was still sleep deprived but not nearly as bad as I could have been.

That first 4-6 wks is so hard

Have you tried swaddling him?

@mimiz, same my daughter is 3 weeks and all she wants to do lately is sleep on my chest. so i let her knock out put her down and having some music playing

..he's 3 days old. and the only way he will fall asleep is if he is on my chest but when I get up to pur him in his bassinet he wakes back up and freaks..I'm afraid to have him sleep on me and I fall asleep...I can barely keep my eyes open:(

Try skin to skin, that always helps my daughter.

it gets better with time. I promise. I know it's probably not the greatest thing to hear but once a couple of weeks pass you will have gotten the hang of things. Keep your chin up!

When my daughter was born she was in the NICU for a month mind you lights monitors and constant bugging so when she came home it was crazy she wanted to be held she hated her bassinet freaked in the swing I was so desperate I cried sometimes... I gave her mylicon one day and she sleep like an angel after turns out her tummy was upset and gassy and that helped soothe her

I know what you mean I went through it try walking him he will eventually give in to his sleep mama

yeah but he's too small for it.. I tried earlier..but we also have a rocker thing that he can lay in that rocks and vibrates.. he's like it for about 10 min. then freaks out again:( this is so stressful. @mimiz
