Anyone have fast nursers? My baby girl is 2 days old and she take about 15-20 swallows and is done til next meal

no it doesn't, some babies are faster/more efficient at emptying the milk. she eats every 2-3hrs and gains weight well. I'd say if baby is satisfied and has enough wet diapers than you shouldn't have to worry.
@jaeparm, And does that make your baby nurse more often or what since you all's sessions are so short?

Yea I didn't breastfeed my first three kids ( I was young and dumb) I went to wic and learned so much from them already. Babys will only drink about a teaspoon at a time the first two days. by day three, they should increase to about an ounce every 1-3 hours! Did not know! And someone on here said it best, your body is like a factory. If your baby isn't there to demand the milk, then your body isn't going to produce as much. Makes sense!
