@arivera64, I never knew that. You're so full of knowledge! With my daughter a man said I was 1/2 cm dilated when I went to the ER and I came back like 4 hours later at like 4 cm. I told him I felt like I should stay, but he didn't wanna hear it lol
women tend to have smaller fingers than men. If your doc is male, your cervix may not have allowed him to get a finger in. However, it isnt impossible to go from 0 to 1 in a matter of hours.

@godsjoi, This is why I tell ppl not to stress when they get a check and theyrenot dilated. Things can go from 0 to 100 real quick lol
