Mommys what are the best diapers to use, in your opinion? I'm using pampers or huggies right now. Used an off brand before and she developed a rash. Now I'm scared to try anything else at the moment. Also quit using scented wipes with fear of making the rash worse.
so, what do you guys think? the doctor thought it was a viral rash but now they say it's eczema. i was using shea moisture and now i'm using vanicream. it's on his back, stomach/chest, a little on the arms, legs, and a little on feet.

Does anyone have issues with huggies diapers as far as rashes? We used to use pampers but they seemed to leak a lot. Since he's been using huggies I see an increase in rashes...just wondering if anyone else experienced this.

I'm using pampers right now and the honest company. Along with sensitive wipes.. My son developed a rash but it wasn't from the diapers. Doc said its normal with new baby's and he gave me an ointment to use cause diaper rash ointments were not working and now it's all looking better

I actually tried the ointments too and asked my mom for a home remedy because honestly her rash looked awful. I used cornstarch at each diaper change and it cleared up really quick. @nmb1010 I didn't know it was normal for newborns, so that makes me feel better. I felt horrible that she had it.

pampers ...we have used huggies but I don't like switching back and forth and once used a cheaper brand and he got a rash

I tried everything, home remedies and ointments, oatmeal baths ext.. The pediatrician told me it's normal for newborns to have a little yeast down there.. He prescribed an ointment and its clearing up

I use huggies while they still have their umbilical numb (they have the cut out for it) after than Pampers swaddler. Once they grow out of swaddlers I go back to huggie because baby dry tends to leak.

Huggies I was going to change the size but I tried my huggies and find they have a bit more room then pampers but then again pampers are good as well so both lol

I realized how stretchy huggies diapers are. I was gonna do the same thing and switch the sizes from newborn pampers to size one, but still had newborn in huggies to use. they have a lot of room like you said. @mimiz

Yes I didn't switch from NB until 3 months my baby was is tiny but huggies helped from switching with the extra room

I know what you mean. my baby was 5 lbs when she was born 7 weeks ago. now she is up to 8 and a half, haha. she's growing so quick. @mimiz

Huggies are good, I'm using those this time around. I only used pampers with my oldest. Best cheap diapers are target brand.
