Thrush is horrible! I've always used the canesten duo pessary and cream. I've bought it over the counter as waiting for a doc appt is nightmare ! Xx

I've suffered with it throughout my whole pregnancy! I'm sure I bought a canesten duo pack because my doctors were the same at first, I couldn't sit and wait as it drove me mad so I used that! Winds me up when they're funny about stuff like that, you need some relief not to sit and let it get worse! Haha I'd get something over the counter for now or speak to a pharmacist xx

ive requested a million times for them to let me speak to the practice manager but they never call back its a proper pile of shite haha

I've just spoke to my Dr's and he has done me a prescription over the phone for thrush!

I don't understand why these Dr's think they are superior to us! I'd ring back and speak to a manager and ask for a prescription for thrush cream and a pessary if needed xx

@canteloupe24, they are the worst docs on the planet ive put in an aplication to move to the oh docs because they seem really good and little one is deffo not being regestered at mine haha ... i just googled it and they only way it will affect lil one is if i have it when its born and it can catch it x

@misstori1992, that's not fair, they should see you regardless as if it gets bad it can be harmful for the baby.

Definitely make an emergency appointment with the doctor. I haven't had it in pregnancy but I've heard it's quite common but it has to be treated with special cream or tablets prescribed by a doctor or else it'll get worse. In the mean time Greek yogurt is supposed to help. xx
