Question for mommies who had a vaginal birth. I had my son July 19th is it normal for my vagina to feel "fine" but my labia area to feel like someone just kicked me in it? I feel bruised there and it hurts so bad if I try to sit long enough to poop. When I wipe after peeing I try to wipe the labia area itself and not the vaginal area just to "cool" it off to get some relief and there is blood on the tissue paper. I am still wearing the hospital pads and mesh underwear and the blood in the pad is mostly where my labia is and not my vagina area. Is this normal? I'm a FTM and the only way I can get through the day is by taking 1,000 mg of Motrin and using the numbing spray they gave me in the hospital with menthol in it.

Oh holy shit it's normal and it sucks. it still happens to me occasionally and I'm 2 months pp. as long as you know what your labia is then it's completely normal. one day we went to the mall like a few days after my son was born and when we got home and I relaxed I seriously felt like someone had been punching just my labia.
I had a cut . I bleed for about 4-5 weeks . It'll hurt sitting . My doc gave me hydrocodone bc I had a 3rd degree hemoroid . Anyways it'll hurt just talk to doc , drink lots of water to lower bleeding and you can use maxi always pads
Yes but it was a 1st degree tear an from what I remember it wasn't even near my Labia
Maybe just call your doc and explain. Did you have a tear that could have retore?
So , I'm at the doctors using the bathroom to take my pee test and when I wiped there was a little blood in my discharge , is that normal at 38 weeks ? 😐
the hospital told me if I soak a pad its not normal..well today I stood up and felt blood I look in the pad and there's a lot...I clean up and stand up again and there's a pile of blood on the floor & I feel so nauseous.. I'm so scared & my doctor is on lunch break! I have 30 more minutes ):
Sat on the toilet for 15 minutes to try to relax.. When I got up and wiped I had bright red blood on the napkin and in the toilet.. Is this normal? I've never bled like this before...

I’m 35 weeks with my second and I went to go pee and when I wiped there was blood. Not an extreme amount but definitely enough. I’m not too sure if it’s normal or not because it didn’t happen with my first.
I haven’t had sex or a vaginal exam lately either so that’s out of the question.
You just need to slow down and take it easy. mine stopped hurting that bad somewhere around 1 week 5 days but everyone is different
