are doctors supposed to check and see if your dilated and his mind has not

my doctor usually doesnt start checking till 38 weeks but i requested him to check today and im 36 weeks. he decided to check because i felt like i was dialated and sure enough i was ;)

mine is checking every week after 36 weeks that is what she does to all her patient's she said.

Oh k I had the same doctor 6 years ago and she never text me and I feel like I'm dilated but she won't check I went to the hospital with cramps and I was dilated to 5 when I had my last one

mine checked at 30 weeks, 32 weeks & 34 weeks. now I see him every week, & I'm sure he's gonna check from here on out. every doctor is different..

my doctor told me 36 weeks aswell, then at my 36w4d appointment i asked if they were going to check me and the other doctor said what you want me to? i said yes id like to know if im dialated at all or anything, and its a good thing she checked when i asked. they should do it if you ask if your far enough along.

it just felt like alot of pressure only hurt a little but be prepared to bleed a little afterwards tho @godsjoi

oh lol yeah cuz i felt like a lot of pressure and ache and when i sat down and got back up it felt like her head was right there
