Make whole wheat waffles! That's what I do and they taste so much better than regular ones I think.

I jus realized i ate frozen waffles jus looked in the freezer and saw the waffles and thought ima eat a frozen waffle #weirdcravings

And yes, use sugar free syrup. It taste like normal syrup to me. I also put peanut butter on my waffles and my sugar is never even close to being high.
