ok apparently I am completely stupid. how does baby get fed if it can be days before your milk comes in?
@teambarnes, you're right lol my baby cluster fed nonstop. Milk came in perfectly.
I had a lot of complications as well and wasn't able to breastfeed feed due to being in icu for 3 weeks. so I am completely lost and freaking out
And you're not stupid. You're not just automatically born with that knowledge. And once baby is here you'll realize you know a lot more than you give yourself credit for thanks to mother's instinct :)
Cluster feeding and colostrum. There's a pre-milk that you have before your actual milk comes in and baby will feed like every half hour or so and that helps bring your milk in. I believe I got all that right haha. I had a lot of complications last pregnancy so this info is from memory of research rather than experience lol.
thank you all for the help. I feel much better
