it sucks but you get used to it...during pregnancy was the worst...I had to watch everything from the moment I found out at 5 weeks lol. I kept logs and wrote down anything that I ate or did plus how much insulin I took. it was a pain but because I took care of myself my baby was and is healthy...and she wasnt a big baby. don't freak out if you have a high number once in a while...it's going to happen...it started did to me even if I did everything right...just communicate with your dr.

I hope to god it goes away after I give birth. Diabetes run strong in my family almost all my family members on my dads side has it. 🙏🏻 pray it's just gestational! I couldn't imagine going thru it for 9 yrs! @eskawho

don't be, they should have set it up and showed you how to use it...I've been diabetic for 9 years so it's been a while and sometimes I still don't use enough blood or the strip didn't go in lol. or for my reader the need to be charged info comes up and I don't realize it until I get the error lol.

you might have too...my Dr did that for me...there should be an option to turn it on and will take you step by step. when you insert the strip, what comes up? usually when it's ready to test it will say to put a drop on...if it's not doing that it may need to be set up...if you still have problems take it to the pharmacy they might help or call your dr.

hmm...I wish I could see a video lol. Maybe just not enough blood is getting on it or you are putting the blood on too soon before the reader is ready?

:( didn't get that.. Mines in the middle last time I did it the blood sucked up into it and the disconnect piece started blinking blue. Idk what I'm doing wrong @eskawho

did you put enough blood on the strip? also depending on the strip you put the blood on the end or side and it kind of sucks it in...mine is on the side...but I have had some that are on top or end...and if you don't put enough of a drop on it you should get an error. once the blood starts reading it should show a short count down.

Yea I thought it would do that too. I put the strip in right and did that but it didn't show me a number or anything

I don't have that exact one but the test strips go in the bottom of the reader. That should automatically turn it on. Then just use alcohol on your finger, poke it, and put a drop on the test strip. Then just record the number that pops up. Your doctor will the look over your numbers and tell you what's normal and what to be concerned with.

Yea the instruction Manuel says it'll blink lines but I haven't got that. I tried twice but I don't wanna keep wasting the strips @babes101116

Instruction manual, or look it up online, usually they pull back or there's a button to ready it

Your dr didn't explain it to you? I have no idea how to read it so I can't be of any help there, but I feel like your dr should have explained before giving it to you. I would call and ask your dr or pharmacist if you got it at a pharmacy p
