Last night after I lost my plug I started having contractions every 2-5 mins but they sent me home cause I wasn't dilating . I'm in so much pain what can I do to dilate some more ?
Contraction questions I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
How can I tell if I dilated??# first time mom.

How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol
Are there any effective ways & things I can do to help soften and dilate my cervix faster? At my appointment my doctor said I was MAYBE a fingertip dilated and 60% effaced.

Sex or bouncing on a ball is what worked for me. The furthest I got was 3cm before my water broke then everything went super speed!
