How early is acceptable to announce to friends and extended family that you are pregnant? I understand telling parents and maybe siblings earlier, but I've heard that there is a bit of etiquette on this for putting it on social media and what not. Any insight would be very appreciated! Thanks

Anytime you feel ready :) I had a miscarriage before so I waited until 12 weeks to tell social media just to be safe and not jinx anything.

With our first baby, we held off to about 10 weeks to tell my family but didn't tell friends/ work until 14 weeks. Once we told my Mother in law that was it, everyone knew!
