**QUESTION** When did your child's umbilical cord fall out??

My daughters fell off within a week but most babies fall of 10-14 days..

@adensmommy, I haven't touched it or anything I'm so nervous. It's been 7years since I had my son so everything feels so new this time around.

My doctor told me a week OR two ! I wouldn't be worried , as long as you are cleaning it daily ( I used alcohol) it'll fall off!

just be careful when changing & fold the diaper down a little before you stick both sides so it's not sitting on the belly button .. I used alcohol pads to clean around the belly button & the actual scab.

yes it helps it dry out faster so that it comes off faster too, my daughter was in the NICU & that's what they told me to, do clean it Every Time I changed her bum. just take a alcohol pad & really gentle dab around the belly button & on the scab. But not to much around the belly button ( just to make sure it's clean, cause you don't want the skin to get irritated) it's just more the the scan part. 😊
