So, Jeremiah has sensitive skin, probably mixed with an extremely mild case of eczema. I had tried Cetaphil Baby, Baby Magic, Aveeno Baby, regular Johnson & Johnson and nothing cleared his skin up (see bottom photo - his belly was always like that). His pediatrician said to switch to free & clear detergent and absolutely no fabric softeners or dryer sheets for his laundry. Did that, still red and blotchy. I was putzing through the baby section of health & beauty at Walmart a week ago and saw this new Johnson & Johnson extra moisture lotion and baby wash. I thought what the hell, let's try it. Lo & behold he has a clear belly (top picture)! I am amazed and sold on this set of products. A large bottle for it is $12 a piece and I don't even care! So glad my little man's skin looks sooooo much better!
The aveeno oatmeal bath packs are good too I was born with eczema and had it bad up until my 20s the best thing is not using those lotions they all have a lot of fragrance and chemicals that will break baby out. I would say moisturized him with coconut or olive oil organic unrefined kind or eucerine aquaphor I am sure I butchered the spelling. Also don't bathe him every single day as far as soaking long periods in tub keep it to like 5 mins and wash up one day full bath another so as to not dry skin because that also irritates eczema if he is old enough to eat regular food don't give too much citrus that irritates it too and doc was right about free and clear all detergent most other brands to this day irritate me and my dtr
I was thinking we were headed in that direction! He was red bellied for 4 months straight and I felt horrible!
im glad to know your son got better. my godson had to get prescribe medicine.
so every mom has the opinions but for me in totally against using johnson and johnson on my babies skin i used their soap and my little girl broke out soooo bad bumps and red patches all over face at first i thought it was baby acne or she was allergic to the milk so i looked up does johnson and johnson break your babies skin out and there it was so i stop using it and her skins back beautiful and smooth

My baby boy has me so worried he has such delicate skin. Calling the doctor tomorrow to take him in & get checked out. No matter what lotion I use on his skin he gets like this. Breaks my heart

Idk if its true or not but I will not b using Johnson n Johnson for my baby! I do know 2 women got cancer from their powder products, so I don't trust it!!!
Year of the boys?!
Hi everyone! So everyone around me who has had a baby this year or is expecting soon is having or has had a baby boy- me included, due August 31st :)

I'm so miserable BUT I DO love my belly. It's perfect. I can't believe this belly has held 4 babies over the last 8yrs. How amazing
@mamamj, thankfully you bought something that worked😃
