I had my son circumcised when he was two weeks old.

Me and SO decided not to. My SO is circumcised and I let him make the final decision because I don't know what it's like to have a penis. But I wasn't for it at all because I don't think it's necessary. If you keep it clean you should be fine :)

I'm not getting my son done because it's there for a reason. if they didn't need it, they wouldn't be born with it. my husband isn't done & he said he couldn't imagine being because it's normal, it's not weird to have or anything. they say they can get infections, but can't you if you are as well? lol if you teach your son to clean properly & to pull the skin back and clean under it and rinse and dry throughly there won't be any problems. plus having the skin there is a little bit more protection, his tip isn't gonna rub up against his underwear or diaper or anything cause that might hurt. instead the skin will be a protection kind of for it. it's up to you honestly but that's just the way I see it :)

@logansmama, it is a very tough decision! I don't have boys, so fortunately I haven't had to make that decision.. But it just makes it easier if they have an issue as an adult. And plus, as a little boy, it makes it a lot easier for him to clean once he's potty trained!!

@momofgirls3, my boyfriend actually got a tear to he said it was painful. I'm going to mention that to him and I'll see what he thinks then. it's such a hard decision.

I did it cause his dad is and I know that the older they are the more painful it is to get it done. so as right or wrong as it is for me to make the decision for him I chose to do it in case he would have wanted it done and it would save him from a harder experience when older.. I'm neither against or for it. it's a patents choice for what ever reasons they personal choose to do it.. it's your baby and up to you 👍 it is painful for them and it hurts them when you change diapers, it lasts about a week and then it's mostly healed. I just can't imagine him going through it later in life when our if he would want it done.. good luck with whatever decision you make love!! @logansmama

I would do it. I knew someone who got some sort of tear on the skin during sex and it caused him a lot of pain. Long story short he had to get circumcised as an adult. And it was extremely painful!! He had to take off a lot of time from work, just basically a huge inconvenience. And who wants to ask someone to clean them down there, because after the surgery someone has to do the after care..

Good for you :) he is perfect the way he is. You will not regret your choice. I know I didn't. And not being circumcised is also becoming more common. I won't have it done to any of my boys

at first my boyfriend and i was all for it then I've read a bunch of things from different mom's which made me question it. tbh I really don't want to put my son through it, and my boyfriend isn't circumsized either and he actually changed his mind to so we probably won't do it @nikosmomma @ainsleighsmumma @mommyoftwo35 @shann

sure it only last a couple mins when they do it but they strap them down I don't want him going through in needed pain

I didn't this time either in glad I didn't it is only cosmetic my bf isn't either he has never had any problems STDs or infections. my first son he's 8 he is. really it's up to you but I'm glad I didn't honestly

I'm not getting my son circumsized because his dad isn't. his dad never had a problem because he keeps it clean so as long as you know how to keep it nice and clean you should be fine but its all up to you

I'm choosing not to if I have a son because it's not medically necessary.

I didn't do it because it's technically a cosmetic surgery. I don't want to change a hair on my sons head. They are perfect when they are born. ☺️ of course it's your choice. Just know it is not medically necessary. Unless there proves to be some type of problem or they get continuous infections. Which my son is 1 and I've yet to have any problems.
