Has anyone else's babies had newborn reflux? The pediatrician seems to think she has it and wants to try rice cereal with her formula. I'm new at all this and I never know what's normal and what's not for a little baby. If anyone has any experience with reflux, please share your stories.

Elliot has had reflux since the day he was born. We did the cereal in the bottle as well, it helped for a little but we eventually had to put him on medicine. They did countless amounts of tests to try and rule out pyloric stenosis, milk allergy, the even did an upper GI scope that he had to be sedated for. I didn't see a change until around 6 months. We also had to increase his calories, so we mix his formula with extra calories in it.

Parker has had it since birth along with out GI issues & certain Intolerances/allergies. We still do rice in bottle at 15 months & he's had an upper GI study done & other GI tests that showed he had it really bad. We are actually seeing a feeding team now for it.
