How many moms had their membranes stripped and how long did it take you guys to go into labor? Had mine stripped today so my midwife is hoping we have a baby within the next 72 hours.

Maybe that's a good sign (: after I got mine done, I cramped for a few hours but had 0 contractions until I went into labor on that Friday.
@orionsmomma, that's about the time I had mine done today. I have definitely been having more contractions and stronger but nothing consistent.
For me, I had gotten mine stripped on a Wednesday at about 11am at 4 cm dilated, they thought I was gonna go into labor that night. But I ended up going into labor 2 days after. It sure made a lot of mucus plug come out though.
@babycharlie072016, that stinks! She don't think I will make it a full week but then again she didn't think I would hit 38 weeks either. We won't talk about inducing unless I make it to my next appointment.
@nicemmcha2015, how far dilated were you when they stripped them? I was at a 3 before she stripped my membranes. Just hoping that he's gonna come soon.
I had mine stripped at 10a on a Friday an never went into labor had to be induced that Sunday..
had mine stripped at 3 on a Tuesday. she was born that wed at 637am

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
