went to the hospital to be monitored leave the hospital with an appointment to be induced tomorrow due to little man measuring smaller than he should be 😕 as much as im ready to meet this little boy im absolutely petrified!

@kate_smith, i thought that to but apparently as my measurements have been spot on all through my pregnancy and then suddenly dropped last week it is safer for the baby to be induced than let me carry on with the pregnancy especially as i am due anyway on Monday x
Why do they want to induce you if the baby is smaller than average? Wouldn't it be more logical to let you carry the baby for as long as you can?

Stay positive it is a lot to take in but it's best for you and baby have a relaxing bath and try to relax a bit. I got told today that I'm being induced on Monday I'll be just over 38 weeks xx

Sometimes it's safer to get baby out sooner due to low weight because it could mean there's a problem with the placenta doing its job properly which could make it more dangerous for baby to stay in @kate_smith xx
