Call and let them know that your insurance ran out and want to put your kids on Medicaid and see if they'll help you. If they can't, they SHOULD tell you what you can do. They will let you know what to bring.
I went through hell getting Medicaid with my first pregnancy. But with this one I received advice to go into the office and apply in person. I walked out covered with Medicaid and just had to wait for Medicaid cards and the packet or whatever that let me choose peach care.
